Brazos Valley Christian Counseling was started in 1987, with a goal of serving those who are hurting and in need. Our clinical staff strives to reach out to each client in an empathetic and nonjudgmental manner while helping each client gain the knowledge and skills necessary to live life to the fullest.
Counseling is an opportunity for clients to work on a variety of specific issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relational conflict, sexual issues, self-esteem, stress management, life adjustments, and self-growth. Dr. Roy Luepnitz
Dr. Luepnitz, Ph.D., Psychologist, LSOTP, LMFT received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Texas A&M University in 1985, earned his master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1981, and received his bachelor's degree in humanistic psychology from Southwestern University in 1979.
He currently holds licensures as a psychologist, sex offender treatment provider, and marriage and family therapist. Dr. Luepnitz established Brazos Valley Christian Counseling in 1987 and has over 30 years of experience working with a variety of issues. Some of his specialties include: relationship issues, family issues, divorce, depression, anxiety, sexual issues (pornography, affairs, sexual addiction, unwanted sexual urges, etc.), personality disorders, ADHD, forensic work, alcohol abuse, impulsivity, anger management, domestic violence, grief, OCD, and parenting issues.
At this time, Dr. Luepnitz is only accepting court appointed clients and clients under his current contracts.
Dr. Roy has held his full time private practice since 1987 serving the Bryan College Station and surrounding areas.

HALT-Structured Sexual Issues Treatment Program: Porn, Affairs, etc. (seven, 90 min. groups per week) and anger management and domestic violence program. Critical incident stress debriefing and psychological, neurological, educational, diagnostical evaluations.
